1. General Policy
fashionclosetclothing.shop is committed to providing customers with a transparent and fair process for returns, withdrawals, defective products, incorrect products, and refunds.
This policy applies together with mandatory consumer rights available under French and European Union law.
Where any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal consumer right, the mandatory legal right will prevail.
2. Statutory 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing eligible goods online in France generally have at least 14 days from receipt of the goods to notify the seller of their decision to withdraw from the purchase without having to provide a reason.
For an order containing several products delivered separately, the statutory period may begin upon receipt of the final item where applicable.

3. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

4. Return Deadline After Withdrawal
After notifying fashionclosetclothing.shop of your withdrawal, the goods must generally be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notification, where the statutory withdrawal regime applies.
Please contact us before returning a product so that we can provide the correct return instructions.
Do not return products to an address shown on the original shipping package unless fashionclosetclothing.shop has expressly confirmed that the address is authorised for returns.
5. Return Condition
Customers are entitled to inspect products in a manner reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Returned goods should, whenever reasonably possible, include:
- the original product;
- accessories;
- labels;
- manuals;
- included components; and
- original packaging.
Customers may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Return Shipping Costs
For an ordinary change-of-mind withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods when properly informed of that obligation before purchase.
French rules provide that return costs may be borne by the consumer where the consumer was informed in advance; otherwise those costs may fall on the professional.
For products that are incorrect, damaged, defective, or legally non-conforming, return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
7. Exceptions to the Withdrawal Right
Certain purchases may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where an exception expressly provided by law applies.

- personalised or custom-made products;
- goods made according to customer specifications;
- rapidly perishable goods;
- sealed hygiene-related products that have been unsealed after delivery where legally applicable; and

Any exception will only be applied where legally valid.
A discounted or promotional price does not, by itself, eliminate statutory withdrawal rights for an eligible distance purchase.
8. Clothing and Fashion Products
Customers should take reasonable care when trying on clothing.
Products should not be worn for extended use, washed, damaged, altered, stained, perfumed, or otherwise handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to determine size, fit, appearance, and basic characteristics.
Trying on clothing in a reasonable manner does not automatically eliminate a consumer's statutory withdrawal right.
9. Damaged Products

Please provide your order number, a description of the damage, and photographs where reasonably helpful.
We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
10. Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that differs from the product you ordered, please contact us promptly.
Provide your order number and information showing the product received.
Where we have supplied an incorrect product, we will arrange an appropriate solution without reducing your mandatory consumer rights.
11. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
A defective or legally non-conforming product is handled separately from an ordinary change-of-mind return.
French consumers generally benefit from a two-year legal guarantee of conformity for qualifying goods.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract.
Statutory remedies will be provided without charges that are prohibited by law.
12. Refunds Following Statutory Withdrawal
Where a valid statutory withdrawal is exercised, fashionclosetclothing.shop will reimburse amounts required by law.
Under French withdrawal rules, reimbursement is generally due within 14 days from the date the seller is informed of the withdrawal, although reimbursement for goods may lawfully be withheld until the goods have been received back or the consumer provides evidence of return, where applicable.
Refunds will normally be issued using the original method of payment unless another method is expressly agreed and does not impose additional costs on the customer.
13. Original Shipping Charges
fashionclosetclothing.shop provides free standard shipping on all orders.
Accordingly, there is normally no standard outbound shipping charge to reimburse.
If a customer voluntarily selects a premium delivery service offered at an additional cost, reimbursement rights relating to the difference between standard and premium delivery will be determined according to applicable law.
14. Refund Processing Time
Once fashionclosetclothing.shop issues a refund, additional processing time may be required by the customer's bank, card issuer, or payment provider before the funds appear in the customer's account.
This financial-processing period is outside the direct control of fashionclosetclothing.shop.
15. Exchanges
Where inventory permits, we may offer an exchange for another size, colour, or product.
However, exchanges are not guaranteed because stock availability may change.
Where an exchange cannot be completed, the customer may return an eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
This does not affect statutory replacement rights for qualifying non-conforming products.
16. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
Customers who wish to cancel an order before dispatch should contact:

If the order has already been dispatched, customers may exercise applicable withdrawal or return rights after receipt.
17. Refusing Delivery
Simply refusing delivery does not necessarily constitute valid notification of withdrawal.
French consumer guidance states that simply sending goods back or refusing delivery without a withdrawal statement is not sufficient to express the decision to withdraw.
Customers should therefore send a clear withdrawal notice to info@fashionclosetclothing.shop.
18. Suspected Fraud or Abuse
We may investigate return requests involving suspected fraud, product substitution, intentional damage, false evidence, or other abusive conduct.
This provision will never be interpreted or applied to remove genuine mandatory consumer rights.
